Here is an interesting site that shows super promise as a tool all twitters who have a blog or blogs should check out. Tweet out your blog when you update it via an rss fee. This seems to be a better option than most other auto updates of blog posts to twitter I have tried (and stopped for the sheer idiocy of them). Of course, I do have to add a caveat before you rush off to use this service (which yours truly will be using shortly for a blog or two just to really check everything out): And that is do not use if you update your blog umpteen times a day, or a blog that auto updates from news services and other blogs constantly (something like Locate Blogs as an example). Otherwise a lot of your followers will think you are doing nothing but spamming them with your blog updates and will unfollow you in a heartbeat. This I know from using other services!

Twit Robot shows at present 11378 users and over 2.4 million tweets sent out. So they do have a good user base and it will be growing over time as more people discover this site (like you just have). And like I said above I will shortly be a user. Do join me?

Update. It was so darn simple to login! Just allow Twit Robot access. See above paragraph on this. And guess what? To use the rss fee update, no need to add a code to your blog like those other services I used! Just enter your blog feed and Twit Robot takes care of the rest. Heck, they will even tweet out a random feed from your blog if you have no update at the time you set. Yes, you can set it from 1 hours to days or weeks in advance.

Plus two other features are included in Twit Robot. One is the ability to schedule a tweet sometime in the future. Great if you are going to be gone for a bit, or to just remind you of something you have to do or go to. The other user search, where you can find twitter users via a keyword. Great to find people to follow that have the same interest as you do.

Myself, I think I am going to enjoy Twit Robot for the future and I believe that you should also enjoy it. Now head on over and use the simple login to enjoy their free services (forgot that bit above, it is FREE!).

Okay, up front I will tell you, you are not following dead people. If you really believe that dead people can use twitter to talk to you, there is nothing I can do for you but refer you to some serious drugs dispensed by men in white while you are in a padded cell.

Actually, at this site you can follow people who are dead and long gone. But the tweets are written by live people who write like those dead people would if they were alive and on twitter (or they had had twitter when they were alive). So it is a bit funny to follow Einstein, or Shakespeare just to see what they tweet out to their followers.
