Twitter has become all the rage in the social networking community. What started as a nifty way for friends to communicate with friends with the answer to a simple question, “What are you doing?”, has blossomed into much more than a cute way to communicate. Internet marketers the world over are scrambling to create followers so they can market their wares using this fresh, new interface.

We have taken it a step further. We saw the potential of Twitter over a year ago and embarked on the daunting task of procuring the contact information thousands of twitters users the world over. In addition, we have logged this information in our double opt-in database and have been marketing to them directly, via email, for the past 3 months. The results have been phenomenal. Now it’s time for us to share this success with you! We have created a double opt-in submission system that you can use to advertise your opportunities to our database of Twitterers! You don’t even need a Twitter account to use our system because all the leg work is done for you. Imagine the potential of being able to send to Twitter users directly, bypassing Twitter altogether!

Our simple to use program allows you to enter your advertisement into our marketing interface to be forwarded to our database. You are not limited to 140 characters by our system as you would be directly sending via Twitter. You can even enter the URL of the program you’re advertising along with an ad body up to 10,000 characters! Our results have been stupendous and yours could be too! Not only can you use our program to advertise your opportunities but you can also sell it to your friends and associates. We have created an affiliate program whereby, you can earn a cool $15 for each $24 program you sell! What could be better than that! Make just two sales and your lifetime membership was basically free.

You’ll never be billed again and you can use the system as often as you please! Join the hordes of other marketers who will be clamoring to get their claws on this hot, new program and be the first in your circle of influence to reap the rewards!

Some of the Top Twitter Tools

We all know that Twitter is a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time, where you can send messages up to 140 characters called tweets. Tweets are posted on your profile page and send out to all your followers’ timeline. Think micro-blogging!

I have found when I was only following a couple of people like close friends and family, it was easy to keep refreshing the Twitter home page for updates. But when I began following a couple hundred and then a few thousand, I had to find some tools to make the process a bit easier on me. I do spend way too much time on twitter. And unlike so many on twitter, I do not use a phone or some tool to input tweets to be sent at various times. Though that tool I may write about later and try using it. So a few tools that I have found to help me keep up with the huge flow of tweets and to save some time (not much for me, but what they hey) and could be to tweet a bit smarter (don’t ask me, I do it still the hard way, or is that the original way?).

  1. TweetDeck – TweetDeck gives you the last 200 tweets made by Twitters you are following and organizes your @replies and Direct Messages (DMs) in different columns. You can also group people you are following into different groups/columns (family, friends…) to easily keep up with their tweets. Reply, retweet and DM with just one click! Must be over a million twitters using this tool now.
  2. Twitpic – This tool allows you to share pictures on Twitter. Now I have seen quite a few people using this. And seen some hilarious pictures!
  3. GroupTweet – You can send messages to a specific group of your followers with GroupTweet. This is a great tool for business groups since you can make its settings private and exchange information via tweets safely. This is one tool I will check out later.

As I come across more twitter tools, I will check them out and post them here. I have to say personally, most tools I have seen are useless for me but may not be so for you and others. One group of twitter tools that do intrigue me and I will be testing them are tools to use on my blogs. If you have a blog, stay tuned for this.

Place to Rate & Follow Twitter Users

Just came across this neat twitter rating site when I was sent a message that I had been rated there. In a nutshell, Chirpio is a way to rate your fellow Twitter users. You can also leave comments about them, follow more users that seem interesting or unfollow spammers.

Seems to be a real nice idea and this site is one site that all twitter users should go to often. Rate your fellow twitters, comment on them, and more. You do have to allow Chirpio to access your twitter account. From what I gather on the site, once you allow them access to your twitter account, it keeps it stored so that it can access your account all the time. When you do, it shows your twitter replies, your followers and more. You can see the status and what you would like to view at the top bar. Very simple and in the future, Chirpio should be one site for all twitter users to use often.

Of course, right now most functions like finding all those you follow, is a bit not working as Chirpio gives me a message that twitter is experiencing such growth that it can not keep up with twitter. Hopefully the developers of Chirpio will work further on this to stay up with twitter. Or is it really Twitter’s fault? I don’t know.

Now go to Chirpio and rate me, Iowadawg. And leave a comment, a nice one if you please. LOL. And do use Chirpio to rate your fellow twitters.

Great People to Follow

After just a little while on twitter, I found quite a few people I follow are worth it for some reasons, they amuse me, they make me want to see what they say next, they converse with me (important if you are going to be on twitter!).

Now there are many different ways on twitter to pass on who are the followers everyone else should follow. One is the FollowFriday, where everyone on Friday start tweeting lists of people they follow and want others to follow. Let me tell you, while FollowFriday is great, it does get a bit burdensome once you get a lot of followers. Hard to keep track, and hard to retweet out.

So, I will be posting here on some weird schedule that not only my mind would know those people I find great on twitter and you should follow as I do follow them. So to start with, here are a few. Just click on the url to go to their profile page where you can follow them easily.

Oh, if you are not here today, you just may be on another list on another day. So keep me amused if you want to be listed! LOL
